This policy explains how Auditsmith Events Sdn Bhd (“we”, “us”, Business Reg. No. 202401052318 (1662318-P)) handles personal data collected through auditsmith.help and in the course of planning and delivering events. We process personal data in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
1. What we collect
Through the enquiry form we collect your name, email address, phone number if you choose to share it, and whatever you write in your brief. If you become a client, we additionally collect billing details, venue and guest information necessary to deliver your event, and correspondence records. We do not collect data we have no working use for.
2. Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare proposals.
- To perform a contract once you engage us — supplier bookings, guest logistics, invoicing.
- To meet legal obligations, including tax and accounting record-keeping.
- With your separate consent, to send occasional studio updates. Every such email carries a working unsubscribe link.
3. Who sees it
Within the studio, only the team working on your enquiry or event. Outside it, only the suppliers who need specific details to serve your event (for example, a caterer receiving dietary counts), our accountants and, where the law requires, Malaysian authorities. We never sell or rent personal data, and we do not share guest lists with anyone not working on your event.
4. Where it lives and for how long
Enquiry and project records are stored on access-controlled systems hosted in Malaysia and Singapore. Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within twelve months. Project records are kept for seven years to satisfy tax and audit requirements, then destroyed.
5. Your rights under the PDPA
You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw consent to marketing at any time, or ask us to stop processing your data where we have no legal duty to continue. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within twenty-one days.

7. Changes to this policy
